He used his redundancy money to set up YPL. His dream was to provide community spirit to Littleport and surrounding area.
Elaine gave up her job in Cambridge to come and run the YPL Tea Shop.
Elaine also makes and bakes all the cakes and scones for YPL. She also prepares and cooks meals to order.
Imogen volunteers in the office a couple of times a week in between her two jobs.

Volunteering is varied and rewarding. It keeps you in touch with the community and what is going on. Also, you have an impact on bringing back the community spirit while helping others.

Michelle also volunteers in the office.
She designs the YPL posters and the upkeep of the YPL Website.
